EDITORIAL POLICY
Editorial standards, corrections and source integrity
The rules used to separate evidence, operator claims, commercial links and unknown information.
This page is general information for adults. WagerScope does not treat availability, MYR support, a licence badge or an operator statement as independent proof of legality, safety or reliability. Check current terms and seek qualified advice when a decision depends on legal status.
Core editorial principles
- Accuracy before speed.
- Source ownership must be clear.
- Operator statements are labelled as operator statements.
- Unknown data is not filled with estimates.
- Commercial relationships do not control conclusions.
Source and verification rules
High-impact claims such as ownership, licensing, withdrawals, payment limits and bonus restrictions require current evidence. Public registers and primary documents carry more weight than promotional pages or copied summaries.
Review dates and maintenance
A review date describes work actually performed. Cosmetic edits do not justify a new information-check date. Ownership, domains, terms, payment rules and material complaints should be prioritised when a record is refreshed.
Corrections and disputes
Corrections should state what changed when the original error materially affected a reader's decision. Operators may provide evidence, but they do not receive editorial control over accurate criticism.
Automation and human responsibility
Automated tools may support checking, formatting and consistency, but they must not invent experience, people, transactions, sources, ratings or research. The site owner remains responsible for publication.
